The Coast Malaria Endemic Region CSOs Network was pleased to participate in the Kenya Health Summit 2026, joining government leaders, health professionals, development partners, civil society, private-sector actors and communities in discussions on strengthening Kenya’s health system.
Officially opened by H.E. Dr. William Samoei Ruto, President of the Republic of Kenya, the Summit highlighted the importance of sustainable health financing, strong community health systems, reliable medicines, digital health, accountability and meaningful citizen participation.
Our participation reinforced our commitment to keeping communities at the centre of health reforms. We will continue advocating for equitable, accessible and quality health services and stronger community participation across Kenya’s coastal region.
